Tim Gerlach is the founder of StoneHarbor Capital, a commercial real estate capital markets firm with assignments across the country. He leads debt and structured finance originations across all asset classes — sourcing and executing placements through an extensive network of institutional lender and equity relationships built over more than a decade in the industry.
Tim began his career in the real estate group at Ernst & Young, where he developed a rigorous foundation in financial statement analysis and property-level underwriting. Prior to founding StoneHarbor, he was part of the top-ranked national finance team at IPA Capital (Marcus & Millichap), where he built the deep lender relationships and transactional experience that define StoneHarbor's approach today.
His CPA background is a practical differentiator on every transaction — Tim reads financials the way lenders do, which allows StoneHarbor to underwrite complex deals accurately, anticipate credit concerns before they surface, and structure creative financings that holds up through due diligence. He is dedicated to the principle of hard-work and integrity in serving as an extension of his clients' teams.

Tim is a Los Angeles native, Eagle Scout, and board member of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate. He graduated Cum Laude from USC's Leventhal School of Accounting and volunteers with the Union Rescue Mission and Harvest Home. Outside of work he can be found playing beach volleyball, paddle tennis, surfing, or bike riding with his wife and daughters.

Steve Wiseman leads commercial sales and leasing at StoneHarbor, bringing broad experience across acquisition, disposition, leasing, entitlement, and private capital raising. Over his career he has been involved in commercial real estate transactions totaling more than $250 million in consideration, in addition to raising million in private equity from both angel and institutional investors.
His background spans identifying investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and building senior-level relationships across commercial real estate, private equity, telecommunications, and institutional sectors — including serving as a trusted real estate advisor on large-scale production projects for Lightstorm Entertainment.

Steve has completed the 2026 LA Marathon, the 2026 Pasadena Rose Bowl Half-Marathon, multiple triathlons including the Long Beach and Malibu events, a Century Ride, and summited both Mt.
